Human Matrix metalloproteinase-20 (MMP20) ELISA Kit

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.084 ng/mL. Precision is reported as 7.5% intra-assay CV and 9.7% inter-assay CV. In dilution linearity testing (N=5) at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, the recovery ranges were 92–117% for serum, 91–120% for EDTA plasma and 92–119% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery testing returned an average of 98% (range 92–104%) for serum and 100% (range 94–106%) for plasma. The target enzyme degrades amelogenin, the major protein component of the enamel matrix, and is thought to play a central role in tooth enamel formation.
