Human Matrix metalloproteinase-14 (MMP14) ELISA Kit

The assay has a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 10pg/mL, and recognises both natural and recombinant human MMP14.

Reported precision includes an intra-assay CV of 4.9% and an inter-assay CV of 7.8%. Linearity was assessed in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with recovery testing returning average values of 100% (range 94-106%) for serum and 102% (range 96-108%) for plasma. MMP14, also known as MMP-X1, MT-MMP 1, MT1-MMP or MMP-14, is a membrane-type matrix metalloproteinase involved in extracellular matrix remodeling, cell migration, tissue repair, cancer metastasis and inflammation, making the kit a useful tool for cancer research.
