Human Matriptase/ST14 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0858)

Matriptase, encoded by the ST14 gene, is a type II transmembrane serine protease expressed on epithelial surfaces where it regulates pericellular proteolysis through cleavage of substrates such as protease-activated receptor 2 (PAR-2), single-chain urokinase-type plasminogen activator, and pro-hepatocyte growth factor. The Assay Genie ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of human Matriptase/ST14 in cell culture supernatants, plasma samples, and serum specimens, supporting research into epithelial barrier function, tumor invasion pathways, and biomarker discovery.

The 96-assay kit uses an absorbance-based readout compatible with standard microplate readers. Pre-coated wells, detection antibodies, and a standard curve are provided for research use only.
