Human MASP2 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate measurement of MASP2 (Mannan-binding lectin serine protease 2) in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

MASP2 is a critical component of the lectin pathway of the complement system and plays a key role in innate immunity and inflammation. Dysregulation of MASP2 has been implicated in various autoimmune diseases, infectious diseases, and inflammatory conditions, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and for developing potential therapeutic interventions.

The kit has a sensitivity of 1.875 ng/mL and an assay range of 3.125-200 ng/mL. Linearity in serum (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 91-104%, 85-105% and 85-100% respectively. Recovery in serum averages 95%, in EDTA plasma 96%, and in heparin plasma 97%. Kit components should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
