Human MAP1LC3A ELISA Kit

A solid-phase immunoassay from Assay Genie, this kit is designed to quantify the MAP1LC3A protein in human samples. MAP1LC3A is a key protein involved in autophagy, a cellular process essential for maintaining cell homeostasis and clearing damaged organelles, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and inflammatory conditions.

The assay uses a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody format with colorimetric detection and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months, and the procedure concludes by measuring absorbance at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 4.688 pg/mL and a measurable range of 7.813-500 pg/mL. Recovery values for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma range from 86-101%, 89-99%, and 87-102% respectively, with averages of 94%, 94%, and 99%. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions spans 82-103% across the three sample matrices.
