Human MAOB/Monoamine Oxidase B ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human MAOB (Monoamine Oxidase B) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development, and is intended for research into the enzyme's role in neurotransmitter metabolism and in neurodegenerative or psychiatric disorders.

Linearity has been verified for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions, with serum recovery averaging 97%, EDTA plasma 94% and heparin plasma 99%. Components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, and the workflow involves sample incubation at 37°C, biotinylated detection antibody binding, HRP-streptavidin binding, TMB development and absorbance measurement at 450 nm.
