Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA is intended for the quantitative measurement of human Mannan-binding lectin serine protease 1 (MASP1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. MASP1 is a serine protease that functions in the lectin pathway of the complement system, contributing to innate immunity, inflammation, and host defense. The kit detects both natural and recombinant human MASP1, supporting research into autoimmune diseases, infections, and inflammatory conditions linked to MASP1 dysregulation.

Using a colorimetric detection method, the assay provides a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 28pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.4% and inter-assay CV is 10.8%. Linearity was validated in serum (90-100% at 1:2; 108-119% at 1:4; 101-111% at 1:8; 80-89% at 1:16), EDTA plasma (93-103%, 99-108%, 101-110%, 95-105%), and heparin plasma (112-122%, 107-117%, 111-120%, 110-119%).
