Human Mammaglobin B ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich ELISA kit built on double antibody methodology for the quantitative detection of mammaglobin B in human samples. The assay accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types.

Linearity for serum samples (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions falls between 83–99%. Recovery for serum samples (n=5) is 86–104% with an average of 93%. Colorimetric readout is taken at 450 nm following TMB substrate development. The protocol uses a 37°C primary incubation of 90 minutes, a 60-minute biotinylated detection antibody step, and a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin binding step. All reagents are stored at 2–8°C and remain stable for 12 months.

Mammaglobin B (UniProt O75556), also referenced as Lacryglobin, Lipophilin-C, Mammaglobin-2, Secretoglobin family 2A member 1, LIPHC, MGB2 and UGB3, is investigated as a biomarker relevant to breast cancer research.
