Human Malignant T cell-amplified sequence 1 (MCTS1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human Malignant T cell-amplified sequence 1 (MCTS1). The kit is intended for research use only and is reactive with human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Specificity covers natural and recombinant human MCTS1.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 78–5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 19 pg/mL. Precision values are an intra-assay CV of 8.1% and an inter-assay CV of 10.2%. Linearity has been validated in serum (98–120% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions), EDTA plasma (87–112%) and heparin plasma (94–118%). Spike-and-recovery testing shows averages of 102% in serum (range 96–108%) and 104% in plasma (range 98–110%).

MCTS1 is described as a protein involved in cell cycle regulation, translation initiation and DNA damage signaling, with reported links to tumorigenesis and lymphoid tumor development. The protein localises to the cytoplasm with nuclear relocalisation after DNA damage, and the corresponding UniProt entry is Q9ULC4. The kit is shipped at +4°C and components are stored at –20°C.
