Human Malate Dehydrogenase 1 (MDH1) ELISA Kit

The Human Malate Dehydrogenase 1 (MDH1) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is built around a 37 kDa cytoplasmic enzyme that catalyzes the NAD+/NADH-dependent interconversion of L-malate and oxaloacetate. MDH1 plays a key role in the malate-aspartate shuttle, transferring reducing equivalents from the cytoplasm into mitochondria, and altered MDH1 expression has been documented in hepatocellular carcinoma, lung adenocarcinoma, and metabolic disorder research. The assay is validated for human, mouse, and rat MDH1 reactivity and uses 100 µL of sample per well. Compatible sample types include tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants, plasma, and serum, supporting both in vitro and in vivo study workflows. The kit ships with a foil-sealed microplate, lyophilized standards, detection antibody vials, substrate solution, and wash buffer, and reconstituted reagents should be stored frozen at -20 °C while the unopened plate pouch is refrigerated at 4 °C until first use.
