Human Major vault protein/MVP ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of human Major vault protein (MVP), this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody, colorimetric detection method and is intended for in vitro determination of MVP concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.

Reported performance values include a sensitivity of 0.094ng/mL and an assay range of 0.156-10ng/mL. Precision data quote intra-assay CV<8% and inter-assay CV<10%. Spike-and-recovery testing in serum, EDTA plasma and UFH plasma returned average recoveries of 94%, 97% and 96% respectively, with serum recovery range 86-102%, EDTA plasma 85-105% and UFH plasma 88-105%. Linearity was demonstrated across serial dilutions, with serum samples at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 returning 85-104%, 85-105% and 88-104% respectively; EDTA plasma 84-101%, 84-92% and 82-99%; and UFH plasma 84-99%, 82-98% and 82-94%.

The kit is reactive with human samples only and is supplied for research use only. Major vault protein is also known by the synonyms MVP, LRP and Lung resistance-related protein. Component storage is largely at 4°C for 6 months, with lyophilised standard stored at 4°C/-20°C and light-protected items (Biotin-labelled antibody concentrate, HRP-Streptavidin Conjugate, TMB substrate) also held at 4°C and protected from light.
