Human Major histocompatibility complex class I-related gene protein (MR1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate measurement of Major histocompatibility complex class I-related gene protein (MR1) in human samples. It is reactive with human specimens and validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.05ng/mL. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 4.2% and an inter-assay CV of 7.8%. Linearity has been assessed in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with serum recovery averaging 101% (range 95-107%) and plasma recovery averaging 103% (range 97-109%). The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human MR1 protein.

MR1 is an antigen-presenting molecule specialised in presenting microbial vitamin B metabolites and is involved in the development and expansion of mucosal-associated invariant T-cells (MAIT), which are preferentially located in the gut lamina propria. It belongs to the MHC class I family (UniProt Q95460). The kit is intended for research use only.
