MAGOH (Mago homolog, exon junction complex core component) is a 19 kDa RNA-binding protein that forms part of the exon junction complex (EJC) alongside RBM8A, eIF4A3, and MLN51. The protein plays a central role in post-splicing mRNA metabolism, including nuclear export of mRNA, nonsense-mediated decay (NMD) surveillance, and proper mRNA localization and translation.
