MAGEA8 (Melanoma-Associated Antigen A8) is a cancer-testis antigen normally restricted to immune-privileged sites such as the testis but commonly re-expressed in melanoma, non-small cell lung cancer, bladder carcinoma, and certain breast tumours, where it has been investigated as a candidate for cancer immunotherapy and a marker of tumour-associated antigen expression. The Human MAGEA8 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie provides laboratories with a quantitative immunoassay for measuring MAGEA8 protein levels in human research samples. The kit is supplied as a complete package containing a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised recombinant standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, substrate solution, and stop reagent sufficient for 96 determinations per plate.
