Human Macrophage Stimulating Protein (MSP) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Macrophage Stimulating Protein (MSP) ELISA measures human MSP, also known as MST1 or hepatocyte growth factor-like protein (HGFL), the physiological ligand for the RON (MST1R) receptor tyrosine kinase. MSP circulates as a serum-derived serine protease of the HGF family and has been implicated in macrophage chemotaxis, epithelial–mesenchymal transition, and innate immune regulation. Published studies use this ELISA to quantify circulating MSP in prostate carcinoma, breast cancer progression, hepatocellular injury, and inflammatory cytokine crosstalk. The microplate is supplied pre-coated with a human-specific capture antibody, paired with biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP reagents. Reconstituted standard vials should be kept refrigerated and protected from light, with dilute samples handled on ice prior to dispensing. Unused wells and remaining reagents remain stable through the stated shelf life when stored at the recommended temperature and protected from repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
