Human Macrophage scavenger receptor types I and II (MSR1) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of human Macrophage scavenger receptor types I and II (MSR1), this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The kit detects natural and recombinant human MSR1, with reactivity for human samples.

The reported detection range is 0.156-10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.08ng/mL. Assay performance includes an intra-assay CV of 7.8% and an inter-assay CV of 8.9%, while recovery averages 88% (range 82-94%) for serum and 90% (range 84-96%) for plasma. MSR1 is a membrane glycoprotein implicated in the pathologic deposition of cholesterol in arterial walls during atherogenesis, and the receptors mediate endocytosis of a diverse group of macromolecules, including modified low density lipoproteins (LDL).
