Human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 4 Alpha (MIP4a) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 4 Alpha (MIP4a) ELISA Kit quantifies MIP-4a, also referred to as CCL18 or PARC (pulmonary and activation-regulated chemokine), in human biological specimens. The plate-based workflow uses 100 uL of sample per well and a biotin-streptavidin-HRP detection scheme with a TMB substrate.

MIP-4a is a CC-family chemokine most strongly expressed by alternatively activated (M2) macrophages and dendritic cells, with established research roles in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, tumor microenvironment immunology, allergic airway inflammation, and rheumatoid arthritis synovial biology. Accepted specimen matrices include serum samples, plasma preparations, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatants, and the antibody pair is human-specific with no significant cross-reactivity against rodent analogues such as mouse CCL18.

Reconstituted standard and diluted samples should be aliquoted to limit freeze-thaw cycles; the unopened kit should be refrigerated and sealed reagents held at -20°C for longer-term storage. This product is for research use only.
