Human Macrophage colony-stimulating factor 1 (CSF1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human Macrophage colony-stimulating factor 1 (CSF1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, using a colorimetric ELISA method.

CSF1 is a key cytokine that regulates the growth, differentiation and function of macrophages, playing crucial roles in immune responses and tissue repair. Dysregulation of CSF1 has been implicated in various inflammatory diseases, cancer progression and autoimmune disorders, making it an important biomarker for immunological, oncological and inflammatory research. The assay detects natural and recombinant human CSF1 with a sensitivity of 12 pg/mL and a detection range of 31.2–2000 pg/mL. Reported intra-assay precision is 6.2% CV and inter-assay precision is 8.7% CV.

Linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with recovery of 91–103% in serum (average 97%) and 93–105% in plasma (average 99%). The target protein corresponds to UniProt entry P09603 (synonyms: Lanimostim, CSF-1) and is produced as a disulfide-linked homodimer or heterodimer that interacts with CSF1R.
