The Human MACF1 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of Microtubule-Actin Crosslinking Factor 1, a giant cytoskeletal linker protein of the spectraplakin family also known as ACF7. MACF1 coordinates actin filament and microtubule network dynamics and has been linked to cell migration, wound re-epithelialization, neuronal differentiation, and cytoskeleton remodeling in skin stem cells, intestinal epithelium, and neural progenitors. The kit is used in cancer biology, developmental biology, neuroscience, and dermatology research where circulating or tissue-derived MACF1 levels are investigated. Each kit contains a pre-coated microplate and reagents for a sandwich immunoassay with a colorimetric endpoint. The recommended sample volume is 100 uL per well for serum or plasma specimens, and reconstituted reagents should be stored refrigerated and protected from light.
