The Assay Genie Human M-CSF PharmaGenie ELISA Kit is a quantitative sandwich immunoassay for measuring macrophage colony-stimulating factor (M-CSF, also known as CSF-1) in human biological samples. M-CSF is a key hematopoietic cytokine that drives the proliferation, differentiation, and survival of monocytes, macrophages, and osteoclast progenitors, making it a useful biomarker in oncology, inflammatory disease, bone metabolism, and immunology research.

The assay quantifies human M-CSF in serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants using a 96-well microplate format with colorimetric readout. The capture antibody is human-specific, with no significant cross-reactivity with rat or mouse M-CSF. Reconstituted standards and detection antibodies should be stored frozen at -20 °C and protected from light, while the microplate and wash buffer components are kept refrigerated until first use.
