Human M-CSF ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human M-CSF (Macrophage Colony-Stimulating Factor), a cytokine involved in immune regulation and the differentiation and function of macrophages. The kit employs a double-antibody sandwich immunoassay with colorimetric detection and is validated for use with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL (1 pg = 168 mIU). Linearity across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma falls between 81% and 105% at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions. Recovery ranges are 85–105% for serum (average 94%), 95–104% for EDTA plasma (average 99%), and 85–99% for heparin plasma (average 93%).

The six-step protocol includes reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction read at 450 nm. Kit reagents are stored at 2–8°C, protected from direct light where indicated, and remain stable for 12 months under these conditions.
