The Assay Genie human LYVE1 quantitation kit provides researchers with an in vitro immunoassay tool for measuring lymphatic vessel endothelial hyaluronic acid receptor 1 in human research specimens. LYVE1 is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that functions as the principal lymphatic endothelial receptor for hyaluronan, anchoring the polysaccharide on the surface of lymphatic capillaries and supporting its transit into lymph. Because LYVE1 expression is largely restricted to lymphatic endothelium, circulating or shed LYVE1 levels are increasingly used as a biomarker in studies of lymphangiogenesis, tumor metastasis via lymphatic routes, chronic inflammatory conditions, and lymphatic disorders.

This kit is configured for research use only and ships in a standard microplate format with all reagents needed for the two-antibody capture-and-detection procedure. The assay produces a chromogenic readout on a conventional plate reader, and the included protocol covers standard curve generation, sample dilution guidance, and recommended assay conditions. For sample preparation, serum-type and plasma-type specimens are commonly used; cell culture supernatants from lymphatic endothelial or tumor cell models may also be evaluated.

Typical laboratory workflow involves allowing standards and unknown samples to bind the pre-coated plate, applying a biotinylated detection antibody, washing, and developing with streptavidin-HRP and the supplied substrate. Researchers should store the kit refrigerated upon receipt and allow components to equilibrate to room temperature before running the assay, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the standard and detection reagents to preserve performance.
