Human Lysophosphatidic acid receptor 3 (LPAR3) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Lysophosphatidic acid receptor 3 (LPAR3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Detection is by colourimetric ELISA and the assay shows specificity for natural and recombinant human LPAR3. The kit is for research use only.

Reported performance: detection range 0.78–50 ng/mL, sensitivity 0.33 ng/mL, intra-assay CV 4.9% and inter-assay CV 9.1%. Dilutional linearity has been validated for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions. Average recovery is 104% in serum (range 98–110%) and 106% in plasma (range 100–112%).

LPAR3 is a multi-pass cell-membrane receptor of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family and acts as a receptor for the bioactive lipid lysophosphatidic acid (LPA), a mediator of cell proliferation, migration and survival. Dysregulation of LPAR3 signalling has been implicated in cancer, fibrosis and neurological disorders, and the receptor may play a role in the development of ovarian cancer.
