Human LYPD3/C4.4A ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format for the quantitative detection of human LYPD3 (Ly6/PLAUR domain-containing protein 3) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. LYPD3 belongs to the Ly6/uPAR family and has been implicated in cell adhesion, migration, and invasion, and is associated with certain types of cancer, supporting its value as a biomarker in cancer research.

The workflow includes primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm.

Reported linearity for serum at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 90–99%, 87–101% and 80–100%; for EDTA plasma 85–94%, 86–96% and 89–95%; and for heparin plasma 86–104%, 82–93% and 82–97%. Recovery averages 95% for serum (range 87–102%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 85–102%) and 93% for heparin plasma (range 86–104%). The kit is for use with human samples and should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
