Description

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format for the colorimetric quantification of Lymphotoxin Beta Receptor (LTBR) in human samples. Compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, it is intended as a research tool for investigating LTBR's role in immune response and inflammation, including conditions such as autoimmune diseases and cancer. Reported sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL, with an assay range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, then loading standards, samples and blanks onto the pre-coated plate with a 90-minute incubation at 37°C for antigen binding. Biotin-labelled detection antibody is added and incubated at 37°C for 60 minutes, followed by HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes. TMB substrate is then incubated in the dark for 10-20 minutes, the reaction is stopped, and absorbance is read at 450 nm.

Reported linearity (n=5) across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions: serum 90-100%, 82-99%, 84-95%; EDTA plasma 84-98%, 90-98%, 92-99%; heparin plasma 86-99%, 85-101%, 86-99%. Reported recovery ranges (n=5): serum 90-105% (average 94%); EDTA plasma 86-99% (average 94%); heparin plasma 89-96% (average 96%).
