Human Lymphotoxin-beta (LTB) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of human Lymphotoxin-beta (LTB) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Intended for research use only, the assay supports investigation of a cytokine that binds LTBR/TNFRSF3 and contributes to immune response regulation.

According to the manufacturer's datasheet, the kit shows a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 40.3pg/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 6.4% and an inter-assay CV of 9.1%. Recovery averages 101% in serum (range 95-107%) and 103% in plasma (range 97-109%). The assay specifically recognises natural and recombinant human Lymphotoxin-beta, and linearity was assessed across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

Lymphotoxin-beta is also known by the synonyms Tumor necrosis factor C, Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 3, TNF-C, LT-beta, TNFC and TNFSF3. It is a single-pass type II membrane protein with a molecular weight of approximately 25kDa, located at chromosomal position 6p21.3 (NCBI Gene ID 4050, UniProt Q06643).
