Human Lymphotactin (XCL1) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this sandwich-format ELISA kit enables the quantitative detection of human Lymphotactin (XCL1), also known as SCM-1-alpha and lymphotaxin. The assay is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Lymphotactin is described as a C-chemokine with chemotactic activity for lymphocytes but not for monocytes or neutrophils; dysregulation of XCL1 has been associated with various diseases and conditions, making it a valuable biomarker for studying immune responses within immunological research.

Reported performance figures include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.091 ng/mL, with intra-assay CV of 6.4% and inter-assay CV of 8.7%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, and recovery in serum and plasma averages 103% and 105% respectively. The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant human Lymphotactin and is for research use only.
