Human Lymphocyte antigen 6 complex locus protein G6f (LY6G6F) ELISA Kit

A sandwich-format immunoassay from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative determination of human Lymphocyte antigen 6 complex locus protein G6f (LY6G6F) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. Detection is by colorimetric ELISA, with reactivity validated for human samples.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.089 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.8% and inter-assay CV is 8.3%. Specificity is directed against natural and recombinant human LY6G6F (UniProt Q5SQ64). Recovery in serum averaged 99% (range 93–105%) and in plasma averaged 101% (range 95–107%), with linearity demonstrated across serial dilutions of serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

LY6G6F (NCBI Gene ID: 259215) is a type I transmembrane cell-surface protein of the immunoglobulin superfamily, encoded in the class III region of the human major histocompatibility complex (chromosomal location 6p21). It is implicated in downstream signal transduction pathways involving GRB2 and GRB7, including the Ras-MAP kinase pathway, and is described as a potential biomarker for studies of autoimmune diseases, inflammatory disorders and cancer.
