Human Lymphocyte activation gene 3 protein (LAG3) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie designed for the precise measurement of Lymphocyte Activation Gene-3 (LAG3) protein levels in human samples. The colorimetric assay is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and detects both natural and recombinant human LAG3 protein. LAG3 is a key protein involved in regulatory T cell function and immune response modulation, and its dysregulation has been linked to autoimmune diseases, cancer and infectious diseases, making it a valuable biomarker in research into disease pathogenesis and targeted therapies.

The kit has a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 45pg/mL. Reported precision is 5.2% intra-assay CV and 9.6% inter-assay CV. Linearity in serum (N=5) is 89-101% at 1:2, 91-101% at 1:4, 89-101% at 1:8 and 93-103% at 1:16. EDTA plasma (N=5) values are 109-119%, 110-118%, 93-93% and 98-107% at the same dilutions. Heparin plasma (N=5) values are 99-111%, 90-103%, 89-99% and 87-97%. Recovery averages 110% in serum (range 104-116%) and 112% in plasma (range 106-118%). LAG3 may function as a ligand for MHC class II on antigen-presenting cells, promoting APC activation/maturation and driving Th1 immune responses. For research use only.
