Description

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the precise measurement of human Lutropin subunit beta (LHB) levels. The assay uses an ELISA detection method with reactivity specific to human samples, and is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. LHB, also known as Luteinizing Hormone subunit beta, LH-B, and LSH-B, is described as promoting spermatogenesis and ovulation by stimulating the testes and ovaries to synthesize steroids.

Quantitative performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL, an Intra CV of 5.2%, and an Inter CV of 8.9%. Specificity covers natural and recombinant human Lutropin subunit beta.

Linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across serial dilutions. For serum (N=5), values range from 105-114% at 1:2, 87-96% at 1:4, 105-115% at 1:8, to 90-102% at 1:16. EDTA plasma (N=5) shows 88-98% at 1:2, 108-118% at 1:4, 102-112% at 1:8, and 113-123% at 1:16. Heparin plasma (N=5) shows 87-100% at 1:2, 100-110% at 1:4, 104-114% at 1:8, and 80-92% at 1:16. Average recovery is 97% (range 91-103%) for serum and 99% (range 93-105%) for plasma. The kit is for research use only.
