Human Lutropin-choriogonadotropic hormone receptor (LHCGR) ELISA Kit

This sandwich-format immunoassay from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human Lutropin-choriogonadotropic hormone receptor (LHCGR) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a colorimetric ELISA readout and is specific for natural and recombinant human LHCGR (UniProt P22888).

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.087 ng/mL. Precision is given as an intra-assay CV of 4.8% and inter-assay CV of 8.7%, with linearity reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery is reported at an average of 96% for serum (range 90–102%) and 98% for plasma (range 92–104%).

The kit is intended for research use only and supports studies of reproductive biology, as LHCGR is a G-protein-coupled receptor that mediates signalling for lutropin/choriogonadotropic hormone via adenylate cyclase activation.
