Human Luteinizing Hormone ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Luteinizing Hormone (LH) concentrations in serum, plasma and a range of other biological fluids, including cell lysates, tissue homogenates, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, cell culture supernatants and breast milk. The assay uses a double-antibody detection format and produces a colorimetric readout, and is intended for research use only.

Reported analytical performance includes a sensitivity of 0.563 mIU/ml and a standard range of 0.938–60 mIU/ml. Intra-assay CV is below 8% and inter-assay CV is below 10%. Spike-and-recovery testing yielded average recoveries of 93% (range 86–99%) in serum, 96% (range 94–97%) in EDTA plasma and 92% (range 87–97%) in UFH plasma. Linearity was demonstrated by serial dilution of spiked samples across the same matrices, with calculated concentrations falling within the reported percentage ranges. LH is also referred to as Luteinizing Hormone, Lutropin and Lutrophin.

Kit components include a dismountable ELISA microplate (8×12 strips), lyophilised standard, sample/standard dilution buffer, biotinylated antibody, antibody dilution buffer, HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC), SABC dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, 25× wash buffer and plate sealers. Reagents are stored at 4°C, with light-sensitive components protected from light, and the kit shelf life is six months at 4°C.
