Beyond the core workflow, the Assay Genie kit ships with a dismountable 8x12-well microplate, two vials of lyophilized recombinant LTBP4 standard, 120 uL of 100X biotinylated detection antibody, 120 uL of 100X SABC HRP-streptavidin conjugate, 10 mL of TMB substrate, 20 mL of sample dilution buffer, 10 mL each of antibody and SABC dilution buffers, 10 mL of stop solution, and 30 mL of 25X wash buffer, plus five adhesive plate sealers. Sample volumes per well are 50 uL for serum, 50 uL for EDTA and heparin plasma, 100 uL for cell culture supernatant, and 100 uL for cell or tissue lysate. The capture antibody specifically recognizes LTBP4 with no significant cross-reactivity against structural analogues such as LTBP1, LTBP2, or LTBP3. Performance is validated against an eight-point standard curve (0.156, 0.313, 0.625, 1.25, 2.5, 5, 10 ng/mL) with intra-assay CV below 6% and inter-assay CV below 6% across low, medium, and high controls; spike recovery in serum averages 92%, EDTA plasma 95%, and heparin plasma 95%, with linearity maintained at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions. Unopened kits should be refrigerated in a sealed box and must not be frozen; the printed label indicates the expiry date. Opened strips returned to the foil pouch with desiccant remain stable under refrigeration for one month and at -20 degrees C for twelve months.
