The Human LTA4H PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is built for quantitative measurement of Leukotriene A4 Hydrolase, a bifunctional zinc metalloenzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of leukotriene A4 to the pro-inflammatory mediator leukotriene B4. Researchers use this microplate-based assay to investigate leukotriene biosynthesis, neutrophil chemotaxis, and epoxide hydrolase activity in human samples, with a human-specific capture antibody ensuring reactivity restricted to the human LTA4H analyte.
