Human LRP5 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human LRP5 (Low-Density Lipoprotein Receptor-Related Protein 5) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. LRP5 participates in biological processes including bone formation, lipid metabolism and cell signalling, and its dysregulation has been associated with osteoporosis, Alzheimer's disease and cancer, making it a useful biomarker for cell biology research.

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months, and absorbance is read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.

Validation data include linearity across serum (89-105%), EDTA plasma (83-99%) and heparin plasma (91-100%) at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8. Recovery averages were 90% for serum, 96% for EDTA plasma and 97% for heparin plasma.
