Human LRP (Lung Resistance-Related Protein) ELISA Kit (HUES02329)

The Assay Genie sandwich ELISA detects human LRP (also known as Major Vault Protein, MVP) in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids using a colorimetric readout on a 96-well microplate. The kit enables quantitative measurement of vault protein levels, supporting research into multidrug resistance in cancer chemotherapy, autophagy, innate immunity, and viral host-cell interactions. In the workflow, pre-coated capture wells bind LRP from the sample; a biotinylated detection antibody then attaches, followed by streptavidin-HRP and TMB substrate. The reaction is stopped with an acid solution and absorbance is read at 450 nm. Typical sample volumes are 50-100 µL per well, with a standard curve calibrated for cell lysate and bodily fluid work. Unused strips and reconstituted reagents should be stored at 2-8 °C; keep the TMB substrate protected from light and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the standards.
