Human LPAR1/LPA1/EDG2 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human LPAR1 (also known as LPA1 or EDG2), a receptor that mediates lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) signaling and plays a role in cell migration, proliferation and survival. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich configuration with a colorimetric readout.

Validated for human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types, the kit reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Components are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months. Reported linearity spans 80–101% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8), with recovery between 85–105%. Because dysregulation of LPAR1 has been linked to cancer, fibrosis and neurological disorders, the kit is intended for cell biology research.

The protocol involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) incubation at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution. Sample preparation covers serum (centrifugation at 1000 × g for 20 minutes), plasma (centrifugation at 1000 × g for 15 minutes at 2–8°C), tissue homogenate, cell culture supernatant (2500 rpm for 5 minutes), and cell lysate.
