Human LOXL4 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich (double antibody) ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of LOXL4 (Lysyl Oxidase Like Protein 4) in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay is intended for research use only.

The kit delivers a reported sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL across an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Reported linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 86–104% / 85–97% / 80–99% for serum (n = 5), 88–103% / 82–93% / 88–99% for EDTA plasma (n = 5) and 88–104% / 86–101% / 82–99% for heparin plasma (n = 5). Reported recovery averages 96% for serum (range 88–102%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 88–99%) and 95% for heparin plasma (range 86–104%). Detection is colorimetric: HRP-conjugated streptavidin catalyses a TMB substrate reaction read at 450 nm after addition of stop solution, with absorbance directly proportional to analyte concentration.

The kit includes a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labelled detection antibody (100X), HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, Bradford reagent for total protein quantification, plate sealer and technical manual, with storage at 2–8°C for 12 months.
