Human LOX ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit uses a double antibody format and is designed for the precise measurement of human lysyl oxidase (LOX) levels in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. LOX is a critical enzyme involved in the cross-linking of collagen and elastin fibers in the extracellular matrix, with dysregulation implicated in cancer, fibrosis, and cardiovascular disorders.

The assay delivers a sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL and a working range of 0.625-40 ng/mL, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Linearity in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma falls within 81-101% across dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 (n=5), while recovery ranges from 86-103% (serum), 86-103% (EDTA plasma), and 89-101% (heparin plasma). Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The workflow includes primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, and TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes. Detection is colorimetric.
