Human Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 8 (LRP8) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of Human Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 8 (LRP8), also known by the synonyms Apolipoprotein E receptor 2, LRP-8, and APOER2. The assay is reactive with human samples and is intended for research use only.

The kit has a detection range of 0.312–20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.1ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported as 7.9% (Intra CV) and inter-assay precision as 9.2% (Inter CV). Linearity has been evaluated across serial sample ratios (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) in serum (104–113%, 108–108%, 94–105%, 81–89%), EDTA plasma (81–90%, 83–83%, 90–99%, 100–108%) and heparin plasma (104–114%, 101–111%, 97–108%, 110–120%). Recovery is 96–108% in serum and 98–110% in plasma.

Accepted sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Specificity is confirmed against natural and recombinant human LRP8 (UniProt Q14114). The kit is grouped under the cardiovascular research area and detects a cell-surface receptor for Reelin (RELN) and apolipoprotein E-containing ligands that transmits extracellular Reelin signalling to intracellular processes via DAB1.
