Human Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 6 (LRP6) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of human Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 6 (LRP6), also referred to as LRP-6. Intended for research use only, the assay targets natural and recombinant human LRP6 with a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.56ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported at 4.9% CV and inter-assay precision at 8.2% CV.

The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. Linearity has been demonstrated across dilution series from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum (80-113%), EDTA plasma (93-116%) and heparin plasma (92-125%). Recovery in serum averages 89% (range 83-95%) and in plasma averages 91% (range 85-97%).

LRP6 functions as a cell-surface coreceptor of Wnt/beta-catenin signaling, triggering beta-catenin signaling through the Wnt-Fzd-LRP5-LRP6 complex and playing a pivotal role in bone formation. It is required for posterior patterning of the epiblast during gastrulation, and its dysregulation has been linked to disease, supporting research applications in areas such as cancer.
