Human Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 2 (LRP2) ELISA Kit

The assay is reactive with human samples and validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

Reported performance includes a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.24 ng/mL. Precision values are an intra-assay CV of 6.1% and an inter-assay CV of 9.5%. Recovery in serum averaged 103% (range 97–109%) and in plasma averaged 105% (range 99–111%). Linearity was assessed at dilutions 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16: serum (N=5) ranged 90–100%, 99–112%, 86–96% and 90–102%; EDTA plasma 81–91%, 109–117%, 105–115% and 102–112%; heparin plasma 96–105%, 104–104%, 105–117% and 88–99%. The assay recognises natural and recombinant human LRP2, a single-pass type I membrane protein found in coated pits (UniProt P98164), with cardiovascular research as the indicated research area.
