Human Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor Related Protein 2 (LRP2) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie LRP2 immunoassay delivers quantitative colorimetric measurement of human Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor Related Protein 2, the large multi-ligand endocytic receptor commonly called megalin. Megalin is heavily expressed in absorptive epithelia of the renal proximal tubule, choroid plexus, and thyroid follicles, where it drives reabsorption of filtered lipoproteins, vitamin carriers, and signaling peptides from primary urine and cerebrospinal fluid.

Built around a sandwich-format antibody pair directed at the LRP2 extracellular region, the assay uses a pre-coated capture plate and a conjugated detection antibody to produce a chromogenic signal proportional to target concentration. Absorbance is read on a standard microplate reader, and a calibrator set supports interpolation of unknown samples across the established working range.

Each kit supplies reagents for a full 96-assay workflow, including the coated microplate, detection antibody, dilution buffers, wash concentrate, chromogenic substrate, and stop solution. Reagents should be stored at the temperatures noted on the vial labels, and the substrate kept protected from light.
