Human Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 11 (LRP11) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 11 (LRP11), a member of the LDLR family involved in lipid metabolism, cellular signalling, cholesterol homeostasis and neurodevelopment. The assay has been validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and recognises both natural and recombinant human LRP11.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.17 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.6% and an inter-assay CV of 9.8%. Spike-and-recovery averaged 103% in serum (range 97–109%) and 105% in plasma (range 99–111%). LRP11 is a single-pass type I membrane protein (UniProt Q86VZ4; 53,311 Da) encoded at chromosomal location 6q25.1.

Detection is by colorimetric sandwich ELISA on a dismountable microplate. For research use only, the kit supports studies where LRP11 serves as a biomarker, as its dysregulation has been linked to atherosclerosis, Alzheimer's disease and cancer.
