Human LMP7/PSMB8 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0839)

The LMP7/PSMB8 target, also termed β5i or large multifunctional protease 7, is the inducible catalytic subunit of the immunoproteasome. It is upregulated by interferon-gamma and substitutes for the constitutive β5 subunit in peptide processing, contributing to MHC class I antigen presentation. Research applications include studies of autoinflammatory disorders such as Nakajo-Nishimura syndrome and CANDLE syndrome, where loss-of-function mutations alter proteasome assembly, as well as investigations of viral immunity, cancer immunotherapy response, and graft-versus-host disease. The kit is supplied in a 96 assay format by Assay Genie, validated for cell culture supernatant, plasma, and serum samples, with a standard detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and sensitivity under 0.1 ng/mL for human LMP7/PSMB8 quantification.
