Human LMOD3 ELISA Kit (HUFI03602)

The Human LMOD3 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is configured as a Sandwich ELISA on a 96-well microplate for quantifying Leiomodin-3 in serum and plasma, with detection carried out using a TMB substrate read at 450 nm. Leiomodin-3 (LMOD3) is a skeletal-muscle-restricted actin nucleator that organizes sarcomeric thin filaments; recessive loss-of-function mutations cause Nemaline Myopathy type 10 (NEM10), so LMOD3 quantification is relevant to studies of congenital myopathies and sarcomere remodeling. The capture antibody is human-specific, with no significant cross-reactivity observed with rat or mouse Lmod3, and the kit is for research use only. Reconstituted standards should be aliquoted and stored frozen at -20 °C to limit freeze-thaw cycles, while the remaining microplate components are kept refrigerated until first use.
