Human Lithostathine-1-alpha (REG1A) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the measurement of human Lithostathine-1-alpha (REG1A) levels. It is reactive with human samples and intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, employing a colorimetric detection method.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 1.56–100 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.39 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.4% and inter-assay CV is 8.6%. Linearity in serum (N=5) ranges from 94–106% at a 1:2 dilution to 104–113% at 1:16. In EDTA plasma (N=5) linearity runs from 92–103% to 100–109%; in heparin plasma (N=5) from 80–93% to 83–93% across dilutions. Recovery averages 102% (96–108%) in serum and 104% (98–110%) in plasma. Specificity covers natural and recombinant human Lithostathine-1-alpha.

REG1A is a secreted protein (UniProt P05451, NCBI Gene ID 5967) associated with islet cell regeneration, pancreatic lithogenesis and diabetogenesis, and is of research interest in cancer. The kit is supplied in a solid-phase format stored at -20°C and shipped at +4°C. For research use only.
