Human Liprin alpha 1 ELISA Kit (HUFI07711)

The Human Liprin alpha 1 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of Liprin-alpha-1, the ~135 kDa synaptic scaffolding protein encoded by the PPFIA1 gene. Liprin-alpha-1 organizes presynaptic active zones by anchoring the LAR family of receptor tyrosine phosphatases and coordinating vesicle trafficking, and altered expression has been reported in studies of synapse formation, axonal pathfinding, and tumor cell migration, particularly in breast carcinoma models.

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate in a 96 Assays configuration and provides standards, biotinylated detection reagent, and streptavidin-HRP chromogenic components sufficient for a full plate of unknowns run in duplicate. Approximately 100 µL of sample per well is recommended, with a standard curve spanning 0.156–10 ng/mL for quantitative readout. Reconstituted reagents should be aliquoted to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and unopened kits are stable when refrigerated until the expiry printed on the vial label. Recommended applications include profiling circulating Liprin-alpha-1 levels in matched human biofluid cohorts, validating CRISPR knock-down or over-expression cell lines, and benchmarking PPFIA1 concentrations against western blot data.
