Human Lipoprotein a ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a sandwich ELISA developed for the quantitative measurement of human Lipoprotein (a) levels across serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, and cell or tissue lysate samples. The assay is colorimetric, uses a pre-coated microplate with a double-antibody sandwich format, and is read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development. Sensitivity is reported as 0.141 ng/mL with a detection range of 0.234–15 ng/mL. Linearity data from the manufacturer for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions fall between 80% and 105%. Recovery ranges are 86–103% for serum, 91–100% for EDTA plasma, and 92–99% for heparin plasma, with averages of 96%, 95%, and 94% respectively. Storage is at 2–8°C for 12 months.
