Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.14 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.1%, and an inter-assay CV of 9.6%. Linearity has been assessed in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, with corresponding recovery values averaging approximately 101% for serum and 103% for plasma. LPPR4 hydrolyzes lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) and has been implicated in axonal outgrowth during development and regenerative sprouting; its dysregulation has been linked to neurological disorders, cancer, and metabolic disorders.
